Son of Joseph Walsh and his wife Jane nee Gillow born in 1877 in Blackburn. Husband of Kate Walsh nee Francis of 30 King Street, Walton. Left Kate with 4 daughters and 1 son aged 11 and under.  Some family still living in Felixstowe. Originally from Burnley. Buried at Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, inscription on headstone reads ‘Peace Perfect Peace’
