Warrant Officer 1804885, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died 17/01/1946. Age 21

 

Born in 1924, the second of four children & only son of Charles James East and Florence Elizabeth nee Mays. In 1939 the family were living at 58 Maidstone Road, Walton. By the time of his death the family were at 231 High Road West, Felixstowe. 

 

Charles was accidentally killed when he fell from a truck returning from a swimming trip. Buried at Labuan War Cemetery, Malaysia
