Born in Walton, 25th January 1910 the second of four children of Arthur Robert Copping & Florence Jane nee Finter. The family lived at 1 Ferry Lane, Felixstowe in 1939. By this time Albert had married Avis Woodhams, in 1936, and they were living in Heston, Middlesex.

 

Buried at Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio.
